Superstar Art Foundation President May Liu Visits Beijing, China
Superstar Art Foundation is pleased to share highlights from the recent visit of our President, HRH May Liu, to Beijing, China—a meaningful journey celebrating art, history, cultural heritage, and the enduring legacy of Chinese civilization.
During her visit, President Liu explored some of Beijing’s most significant cultural and historical landmarks, including the magnificent Great Wall of China, and experienced the traditions and cuisine that have helped define Beijing for generations.
A special highlight of the journey was the opportunity to appreciate precious works by renowned Chinese artists Huang Youyu and Fan Zeng, reflecting the extraordinary depth and continuing vitality of Chinese artistic traditions.
President Liu also had the opportunity to experience remarkable historical and cultural treasures, including an imperial crown from the Ming Dynasty, the ancient Beiye Sutra, a sacred Zen staff, murals dating to the Warring States Period, ancient royal and imperial architecture, and many other invaluable cultural relics.
These treasures are far more than objects preserved behind museum glass. Each carries a story across centuries—revealing the beliefs, wisdom, artistry, traditions, and achievements of the people and civilizations that came before us.
History is not only written in books. It lives through art, architecture, cultural heritage, and the treasures passed from one generation to the next.
